DJuana (DJ) Cousin is a native New Orleanian with over 36 years of real estate property management. She received her Accredited Residential Management, (ARM) from The Institute of Property Management and her (CAM), Certified Apartment Management from the National Apartment Association. She began her employment as a property manager with Historic Property Management Firm, a renowned company with a primary emphasis on Historical Buildings, thus bringing many buildings and warehouses back to life. DJuana specializes in market-rate communities.
After successfully working with HRI Management, she started Corporate City Housing Solution from 2004 until 2018. Corporate City Housing Solutions allowed corporate professionals to enjoy living in units that were fully furnished and that mimic their home away from home. Corporate City housed the film industry, government officials, television directors, journalists, and a host of other professionals working in the greater New Orleans while working in the private or public sector. Her capacity was owner/operator of the company.
She is a certified paralegal and a licensed Realtor.
The idea manifested within her to sell real estate as a way to provide a full service to her clients doing business with Corporate City. She allowed her clients to invest in New Orleans as an owner or investment property. She prides herself on relationship-building within the community.
The first year of her real estate sales earned her a million-dollar status.
The years she spent educating herself have helped her gain important skills in both property management and real estate knowledge. She has the confidence she needs in this arena. She prides herself on having a strong work ethic, and paying attention to detail with a positive attitude.
She has a passion for traveling, New Orleans cuisine, great wine, and shopping. She enjoys visiting her children and grandkids in the Dallas area. She is no stranger to public service; she has prepared and served meals for the homeless population.
