Jenny Burch

Jenny Burch approaches her position as a licensed real estate agent with a background of 23 years as a Professor of Communication Studies. Her specialized knowledge of business communication, components of successful negotiation, and proxemics (use/arrangement of a physical space to communicate) offers clients a perceptive and intelligent experience in their real estate transactions.

In addition to her expertise in communication, Jenny’s love of design affords clients her artistic perspective for ideas on staging a space for sale. Jenny has owned, renovated, decorated, and resided in her own homes throughout New Orleans. Born at Ochsner hospital and raised in Metairie, she knows this city. She was a longtime resident of Lakeview, but also lived in Uptown, Algiers, and now settled happily in Gentilly. Her deep roots provide a real understanding of the neighborhoods of New Orleans.

Jenny has studied and taught scholars for decades about business ethics and credibility. She prizes trustworthiness as an integral part of any interaction, and fosters relationships with clients based on respect and trust. Her commitment and care for others is evidenced by years of working with non-profit community organizations that serve the people of New Orleans.

At home, you can usually find Jenny working on creative, art projects for her home and garden. She enjoys time on her porch with friends and family, as she is the mother of three children, including a set of twins. Two rescue dogs complete her family.
